A one day workshop was held on 22.06.16 at North Bengal University, Siliguri, near about 150 participants joined the workshop. Among the participants there were doctors and health staff from Health Department, DICO from Information and Cultural Department and officers from School Education Department. C.P, Siliguri, DIG, Jalpaiguri Range were also personally present. A large number of police personnel also attended the programme. A panel discussion was held in which C.P. , Siliguri, DIG, Jalpaiguri Range, SRP, Siliguri, CMOH, Alipureduar , District Inspector of Schools  from Maldah were present. Prof. Rahim Mondal of North Bengal University chaired the panel of discussion during the workshop. Prof. Rahim Mondal and Prof. Gongotri Chackraborty delivered enlightening lectures for participants. Hon’ble Chairman, Hon’ble Member, Principal Secretary, ADG, S.P., Registrar, Dy.S.P, Inspector and staff of West Bengal Human Rights Commission were instrumental in organizing such a workshop in North Bengal. The workshop ended with lot of enthusiasm. The certificates and Mementoes were distributed by Hon’ble Chairman, Hon’ble Member and Principal Secretary among the participants and distinguished persons who were present in the workshop.
